Economic DistressThe beauty of the music industry is that no matter how distressed the economy gets, there is still a need for entertainment. I even go so far as to argue that music, movies and parties become all the more a necessity during times of woe, distress and instability. I wish I had the power to wash away all of the post-millennium tension produced by crumbling economic infrastructure and eroded faith in political leadership, but these powers aren't mine—the future has its own course. All I have to offer is depression, detachment and anger.
