Flogger Tales v.3.2102.15.10 – Who ordered the snow!?! I know I certainly did not. And with all the snow that we have gotten come cancelled Events, rescheduled meetings, and lots of lower back pain from shoveling!! Being snowed in with my Immediate Leather Family was a riot. It was a wonderful opportunity to just be ourselves, play our crazy version of Spades, and launch into an all night marathon of Risk, the board game.

Flogger Tales v.3.1201.31.10 – Is there room for romance in Leather? I can speak from personal experience and tell you the answer is, “Yes, absolutely!” At its extreme, Leather can be rigidly codified; leaving many to wonder how is romance possible. But if you look closer, you’ll see romance in the Rituals that are set, in the Protocols that are adhered to, and in the Respect that is mutually conferred. Ultimately, it is up to the parties involved to negotiate and discuss how much romance is a factor in their individual relationship. But romance is a lot closer in Leather than you may think.

Yes, it’s that time of year where we all need to take a moment to reflect on what is important to us, what we’re thankful for, and what holds the most meaning to us. If we take away the turkey and the food and the gifts and the tree and the lights and whatnot, what’s left is Family and Friends.
