Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer, or 5SOS, has won the GfK Dutch Album Top 100 for the third time with an album at number one. And this week’s Vinyl 33 5SOS is at number one. .
This gives the band their third No. 1 on the Editors’ Albums Top 100 list. And on Vinyl 33, the British rock band is currently tied for second place behind 5SOS.
While 5SOS are reliably number one in Australia, editors in their home country only see their new album EBM at number ten in the UK album chart. Yes, the list is topped this week by 5SOS’ new album.
5SOS’s self-titled seventh group album is the band’s first album released through BMG rights. The album contains fourteen tracks, including Complete Mess, Take My Hand, Me Myself & I, Blender and Older (feat. Sierra Dethan). The deluxe edition of the album contains five additional tracks.
5SOS are currently preparing for the final leg of their Take My Hand World Tour, which kicked off in Dublin in April this year. In the same month, the band performed at AFAS Live in Amsterdam and RTM Stage in Rotterdam, among others. As of now, the last concerts of the tour are scheduled to take place in Australia from November 30.
