A working day from home in Eemlandhoeve

Just a different environment. Home workers need it every now and then, especially now that children also have to attend their lessons at home. Eemlandhoeve in Bunschoten-Spakenburg invites people who want to work peacefully for a day.

“In addition to our organic farm, we have a meeting site and a wedding site. Now that this is not possible, our rooms are empty, while we like to allow people to enjoy the peace and quiet that a patio provides. This is how we came up with the idea of saving space. People come and work for a day.” As says Lotte Huijn. “We have about seven conference rooms, so there is enough space.”

Even children can come. “Here they can take their lessons online and enjoy the farm. They can help feed the cows and there is also a lot to do in our large vegetable garden.”

The place for work, including coffee, can be reserved for a fee of EUR 15 per half day. Children can join for 5.00 EUR per day. “Every little bit helps us, and we also love to help people,” says Lott.

Lott noticed that people who come to work for a day come back a lot. “They are not here five days a week, but every now and then for a day. Or they take turns with their partner who works at home so they can also take some distance.”
