Club Brugge caused a major stunt in the Champions League during his visit to Porto. The Belgians, together with Dutch left-back Bjorn Meijer, won 0-4 in Portugal. The other match in Group B between Bayer Leverkusen and Atlético Madrid ended 2-0.
With the second win, Brugge tops the group with six points, for Verkusen and Atlético with three points, and Porto is still at zero after two defeats.
Bruges advances into Porto 15 minutes later. Ferran Gutgla converted a penalty after a foul by Joao Mario on the Spaniard. Shortly after the end of the first half, Kamal Souh scored the second goal for the Belgians. Andreas Skov Olsen scored 0-3 from a long pass from Meijer. Antonio Nossa completed the match for Brugge with the fourth goal.
Frimpong and Baker
Bayer Leverkusen pressured its visitors, Madrid, in the second half. After Patrick Schick missed a great opportunity, substitute Jeremy Frimpong enabled Robert Andrich to score in the 84th minute. With a quick strike, Moussa Diaby made it 2-0 on a pass from Frimpong. Mitchell Packer also came in place of Leverkusen in the final stage.
