An uproar over the ‘Fascist salute’ in the European Parliament

There was a protest in the European Parliament over the arm gesture made by a Bulgarian member yesterday as he left the hall. The Bulgarian, Angel Dzambazki, said it was a kind of farewell greeting, apologies to the president for the provocative statements he made. Others present obviously saw a fascist salute or a Hitler salute.

Gymnastics is a member of the skeptical EU faction ECR. He had spoken in the debate on the conflict between the European Commission on the one hand and Poland and Hungary on the other. in this dispute, European Court of Justice Earlier in the day the European Commission may reduce or stop subsidies if a member state does not respect democratic rights and freedoms.

Dzhambazki differs with Poland, which is ruled by Jaroslaw Kaczynski, PiS, and Hungarian Prime Minister Orban. “We will never let you tell us what you say and do. You won’t like it. Long live Urban, long live Kaczynski, long live Bulgaria and our nation-state.” When he left the room, he raised his right arm, as the Fascists and Nazis did.
