Apple updates MacBook Pro laptops with new M2 chips | Technique

Apple announced new versions of the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro. The appearance of laptops has not changed. The biggest innovation is also the new Apple M2 Pro and M2 Max processor.

According to Apple, computers are up to six times faster than the fastest MacBook Pro with an Intel processor thanks to the new processors. According to the company, the high speed has no negative impact on battery life. The 16-inch MacBook Pro provides up to 22 hours of endurance on a single battery charge.

The design of computers has remained virtually unchanged. The screens are 14.2 or 16.2 inches in size and can refresh the image up to 120 times per second. This ensures a quiet viewing experience. At the top of the screen is a hole that houses the FaceTime camera in Full HD.

The new MacBooks are also equipped with a backlit Magic Keyboard and a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The usual pressure-sensitive trackpad is located below the keyboard to operate the mouse.

The prices of the new MacBook Pro computers start at 2449 euros. Pre-sales begin today and Apple will receive the laptops starting January 24th.
