Ecuador’s President Daniel Noboa Declares State of Emergency as Dangerous Narco Boss Escapes from Maximum Security

In a shocking turn of events, Ecuador’s President Daniel Noboa has declared a state of emergency in the country, including its prison system, after notorious narco boss Jose Adolfo Macias escaped from maximum security. Macias, also known as “Fito,” is the leader of the criminal group Los Choneros and was serving a 34-year prison sentence for drug trafficking and murder.

General Cesar Zapata, the national commander of police, confirmed that Macias was missing from the Guayaquil prison, raising concerns about the security measures in place. Los Choneros, which Macias leads, is a notorious criminal organization involved in extortion, murder, and drug trafficking. It is believed that they hold control over the country’s main prisons.

In response to this escape and the potent threat posed by Los Choneros, the government has authorized the armed forces to take action against these “narcoterrorists.” Over 3,000 law enforcement personnel have been deployed in a massive search operation to recapture the fugitive and dismantle the criminal network.

Ecuador’s prisons have long been plagued by overcrowding and frequent clashes between rival criminal organizations, resulting in numerous inmate deaths. This escape of such a high-profile criminal has sparked unrest in several penitentiaries, leading to the declaration of a country-wide state of emergency.

The prosecutor’s office has initiated an investigation into the alleged escape of Macias, aiming to uncover any potential corruption or complicity within the prison system. Authorities are determined to hold those responsible accountable and prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.

As the search for Macias continues, Ecuador remains on high alert, determined to bring this dangerous criminal to justice and dismantle the Los Choneros criminal organization once and for all.
