Call of Duty Warzone consumes less hard disk space thanks to the Season 2 mid-season update

It might take some time to download the Mid-Season Update for Call of Duty Warzone (even more than 50GB), but that means the Call of Duty Warzone file size is slightly less.

After all, Call of Duty Warzone players know that the free game takes up a lot of their hard drives, but with the new update, it’s a bit smaller.

Reloaded Season 2 is available since yesterday and it doesn’t bring all kinds of changes to Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, but it does reduce the install size a bit.

“The reloaded Season 2 also brings great news of a lower, improved file size in Warzone,”

According to a press release.

“Those who own the full version of Modern Warfare / Warzone, or who own the free Warzone game, will find that their total file size is getting smaller on their platform.”

In the post on their site, Activision told us how much space Warzone is taking up, plus Call of Duty Modern Warfare:

PlayStation 5: 10.9 GB (Warzone) / 30.6 GB (Warzone en Modern Warfare)
PlayStation 4: 10.9 GB (Warzone) / 30.6 GB (Warzone en Modern Warfare)
Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S: 14.2 GB (Warzone) / 33.6 GB (Warzone en Modern Warfare)
Xbox One: 14.2 GB (Warzone) / 33.6 GB (Warzone en Modern Warfare)
PC: 11.8 GB (Warzone) / 30.6 GB (Warzone en Modern Warfare)

So if you’ve already received the mid-season update, you should notice there’s a bit more space on your hard drive. The update went online last night and also added some new things to Warzone, including the option to purchase an advanced drone, but also nerfs widely used in the Cold War.
