Booking, a platform for finding accommodation and travel fares, has been celebrating the Traveler Review Awards for eleven years. This year, based on more than 240 million verified customer reviews from December 1, 2019 to November 30, 2022, they have created a ranking that puts a Spanish region in first place and includes a note on the most hospitable cities.
For users of the site, La Rioja is the most hospitable part of the world. Customers rated accommodation, car rentals, airport taxi services and more. In addition, the reservation compiles another list of the most hospitable cities in the world, which also has a Spanish presence.
In this ranking No country has more than one region. Additionally, the top five European countries (Spanish, Greek, Austrian, English and Romanian) and the African continent are nowhere to be found. Costa Rica represents Latin America and Vietnam represents Asia. There are also other English-speaking locations: New Zealand, Canada and the United States.
