Four studio albums later, Kevin Parker has emerged as one of the most influential musician/producers of the decade. Musician for Tame Impala, he has previously worked with The Weeknd, SZA, Gorillaz, Lady Gaga, Travis Scott and A$AP Rocky. Dame Impala’s latest album ‘The Slow Rush’ (2020) was well received in the Netherlands and reached number one in Australia, Scotland and Portugal.

This week Dame Impala released ‘Wings of Time’, a song written for the movie ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’. While on tour in Spain, Parker rented a castle-like villa in Spain with his close friend Nicholas Albrook. The two went completely into the setting and came up with many different ideas that led to the song ‘Wings of Time’.

In ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor among Thieves’, a handsome thief and a group of adventurers embark on a quest to recover a lost relic. But things quickly go wrong when they bump into the wrong people. Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daly wrote, directed and produced the film. Starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, Reggie-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman and Daisy Head. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will hit theaters on March 31, 2023.
