De Condé is not fully satisfied and sees room for improvement in Genk

KRC Genk started the season with an ambition to become a champion. The club also shares at the top of the standings, but not topped. Football head Dimitri de Conde believes that things can certainly be improved.

Prior to the international break, KRC Genk lost 3-2 to KAS Eupen. A loss that was not calculated at all. De Conde says in latest news.

According to de Conde, there is definitely room for improvement. “We can be more persuasive in an area, and that can sometimes be the spark that the audience needs,” he says. The lack of poison was also evident to Eupen. “Everyone got tired anyway,” de Conde reveals.

Then, the discussion raged in the dressing room after the loss. “That’s fine,” says de Conde. “In football, the mental aspect plays a major role. If there is some kind of resignation and you feel like the fire won’t catch on after a day, you have a problem. This is not the case with us at all. But we will. Go with the coach looking for ways to solve problems”, De Conde concludes.

Genk is fifth after ten days of matches. It counts three points less than leaders Jobin and Royal Antwerp FC. Union and Club Brugge both have 2 more points than Genk.
