Eiffel takes over Ruimte in Advies consultancy in Limburg

Business services provider Eiffel has acquired Ruimte in Advies, a consulting firm specializing in spatial planning.

The Ruimte in Advies team – made up of about 25 management consultants, planners and lawyers – advises local authorities and government institutions on issues related to spatial planning, environmental law and general administrative law matters.

The consulting and training agency, founded by Evelyn Engels in 2008, has developed a close relationship with local authorities in the southern Netherlands in recent years.

“With the arrival of Ruimte in Advies, we are expanding our services in terms of both quality and quantity. This fits in with our ambition to provide an increasingly comprehensive service to organizations and governments and thus help build the Netherlands of tomorrow. It is the Eiffel’s Local Government Business Unit Director, says Michel T. Reilly. A very nice step towards providing a broader service.”

Moreover, with the acquisition, Eiffel will gain a foothold in Limburg, an “interesting area for us”, says T. Riel. Eiffel currently has offices in Arnhem (head office), The Hague and Amstelveen.

According to founder Engels, joining forces only provides opportunities for Ruimte in Advies. “Ruimte in Advies was founded as a bridge builder between government and individuals. By joining forces with Eiffel, the bridge is now solidly cast in concrete.”

“It is great for our clients to have access to Eiffel’s extensive experience and for our employees to have the opportunity to develop in a great dynamic community. We are all really looking forward to it.”

This is Eiffel’s third acquisition since investor Gildy joined his position in the summer of 2018. GemVast was acquired around this time last year, and Palladio was previously added to the group.
