The Ferrari Formula 1 team and energy drink manufacturer Celsius have announced a sponsorship contract for the three Grand Prix races to be held in the USA this year.
Celsius logos will be displayed on the SF-23 cars of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz at the Miami Grand Prix on May 7, the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas on October 22 and also during the new Grand Prix in Las Vegas. On November 18th. Celsius is no stranger to motorsports. The energy drink manufacturer can also be seen on the cars of the likes of Kaulig Racing and Spire Motorsports in NASCAR.
“Celsius shares Scuderia Ferrari’s unparalleled commitment to innovation, excellence and performance,” said John Fieldley, Celsius President and CEO. “We are excited to announce our partnership with one of the most iconic brands in sports as an exclusive energy drink partner for the 2023 US Grands Prix and engage millions of Formula 1 fans.” Fildley explained that Celsius would have found the perfect match at Ferrari, as they have a similar mindset and passion for performance. The sponsorship deal is now only for this season.

Red Bull and Monster
Celsius of course isn’t the first energy drink manufacturer we’ve seen on the proprietary tier network. Red Bull, ten years before the debut of the Red Bull Racing team itself, was already the main sponsor of Sauber in 1995 and then was also a sponsor of Arrows, when Enrique Bernoldi joined the team as a teammate of Jos Verstappen and Heinz-Harald Frentzen in 2001 and 2002. Monster Energy is the official energy drink partner of the German racing team since Mercedes’ return to Formula 1 in 2010. In addition, it is also the personal sponsor of Lewis Hamilton. Of course, we can’t forget Haas’ controversial former major sponsor, Rich Energy.
