Grand Prix Stallion Chen sold to Australia

Madeleine Witte-Vries can no longer be seen in the ring with her Grand Prix stallion Sen (Vivaldi x Tonerhall). Through this 15 year old KWPN horse he has achieved many successes in international GP classes. The breeding production of owners Nico Witte and Jacqueline Cuppen will continue his playing career with Australian teen rider Jessica Dertell.

The two winners finished fifth in the World Cup final in Omaha and sixth in Paris. In addition, they were twice part of the Dutch team at the European Championships in Gothenburg (2017) and the WEG at Trian (2018), where they finished fifth in both championships.

The last international match they could see was in Grote-Brogel in May last year. In addition, they played in national sub-top tournaments. There they won the Grand Prix in Niue Saint Joosland.

“Thank you dear Sen for the wonderful time we were together! The World Cup finals in Omaha and Paris, the World Championships in Trian, the European Championships in Gothenburg, the Top 10 in Stockholm and the tournament in Mallorca were all fantastic matches we held together! Sometimes it’s hard to make decisions, but it’s great to know you can run with a young rider at a low level in hot Australia, “said Madeleine Witte-Vries.
