KNVB gets “many questions” about tickets Netherlands – Argentina

KNVB receives many questions from football fans who want to get tickets for the World Cup match between the Netherlands national team and Argentina.

However, tickets are no longer on sale across the Dutch Confederation. KNVB refers interested parties to the FIFA sales website.

“Questions come up here and there,” a KNVB spokesman said. At the moment, the association takes into consideration about a thousand Dutch fans at Lusail Stadium in Al Daayen.

KNVB published on Mondays website A letter with information about a possible trip to Qatar. For example, football fans who still manage to get a ticket for a World Cup match must apply for a so-called Hayya Card, which is a type of visa for anyone who wants to visit Qatar during the World Cup.

Johan Cruyff Arena

The Orange and Argentina match in the World Cup quarter-finals will start on Friday, at eight o’clock in the evening, Dutch time. The match will be broadcasted on big screens at the Johan Cruyff Stadium. According to KNVB, ticket sales are “going well”.

The two group matches broadcast in the arena attracted around 30,000 visitors. The match against the United States was not shown at the Amsterdam stadium on Saturday. The KNVB expected enthusiasm to be low as many Dutch people celebrated the Sinterklaas last weekend.
