Niantic provides more information about the approval process for Pokémon GO tracks

Now that Pokémon GO Routes is a thing for all players, players with the ability to request routes are asking more and more. However, unlike what happened in the beginning, the approval did not take place in one day. The main reason for this, among other things, is that it’s not the players, but Niantic that cares about approval. On Twitter, Niantic provided more insights into the process:

As you can see, the scan takes a week or more and looks at relevancy, but above all at security. For example, if a road goes across the road instead of the sidewalk, it’s not safe. Let’s hope that more and more tracks will be approved in the near future for players to use.
