Almost identical to Z Proto
Nissan finally injects new DNA into the Z line. The aging 370Z has now succeeded in the production version of the Nissan Z Proto. This is the Nissan 400Z, the car that has already been launched in the world thanks to various Instagram pages.
The Nissan 400Z in these photos is the production version of the Nissan Z Proto that debuted last September. Thanks among other things This I am This Instagram page We can actually see the production version of that concept car. It looks like the car will actually be called the 400Z.
Previously, AutoWeek was able to show the patent plates for the production version of the Nissan Z Proto, sketches that have already confirmed that the final “400Z” will hardly deviate from its yellow foreboding. It should come as no surprise that Nissan with the sporty liner featured in these photos also deviates from the Z Proto in only detail. External differences do not seem to go beyond the arrival of the reflectors on the wings, and are mandatory in the United States, among other things.
Most likely, Nissan attaches a 400-hp 3.0 V6 turbo engine to the front of the 400Z, a machine that comes from its sister brand Infiniti and that also runs in the Q60 Red Sport. Nissan will probably now and a few weeks do the 400Z on its own.
The 400Z is the successor to the 370Z and is thus part of the Nissan Z dynasty. The Z Adventure began with the 240Z that was developed in the 1960s and launched in 1970. Other popular Z models are the 280ZX, 300ZX and the 350Z. You can read more about this here. Unfortunately, the Nissan 400Z will not be coming to the Netherlands as it appears now.
