Pirelli finds space for test days: Four F1 teams left

Pirelli has announced the first dates for the test program for 2023. It appears that the tire supplier He’ll have a hard time scheduling test days into this year’s full schedule. The 2023 Formula 1 tires can be tested after the race weekend by four teams that have to stay a little longer at Imola.

The first tire test is scheduled for the week following the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. Before that, AlphaTauri, Alfa Romeo, Alpine and Ferrari will stay a little longer at Imola.

Divide the test days

to me Motorsport.com Alpine and Ferrari will only participate in one test day: like Red Bull Racing, they have chosen to split the two test days over two different circuits. Both AlphaTauri and Alfa Romeo start their testing days at Imola.

For Red Bull Racing, the first tire test will take place at the Red Bull Ring, after the weekend of racing at home in Austria. Max Verstappen’s team will undergo testing on day two at Monza on September 13.
