Nick Ronderkamp scored just two league goals to the end of the week, but the Quick Boys midfielder doubled that tally on Saturday. The 26-year-old Volenda player scored twice against his old team Jong FC Volendam (1-4 win).

‘I wasn’t particularly keen to score, but it felt like a special match for me,’ admitted Randerkamp who scored the opening goal. And before the break, Yousef Al-Kashati made it 0-2 with a penalty kick.

“We have so much space in midfield that we were amazed,” said Runderkamp, who scored 0-3. He signed Jan Willem Kamp for Katwick’s fourth goal.

And Jong FC Volendam, penultimate in the second division, saved the honors at the last stage. “We’re doing well again,” said Runderkamp, who moved from FC Volendam to Quick Boys in the summer of 2020. Four goals against Spakenburg last week and now again. The start of 2023 has not been good. We lost a lot of points to teams in the top five, which we really regret. Now the third half is the only thing we can play for.”

In the third period title position, the Quick Boys moved up to second.
