Netflix publishes several top 10 lists each day for each region in which the streaming service is active. In total, there are no fewer than 89 of these countries. For most countries, Netflix has two lists: one for series and one for movies. In addition, some countries also have a special children’s top 10 list.
Not entirely surprising
Czech tracking company FlixPatrol compiles these lists daily, allowing us to see what global trends are and how well they are doing in any area. This also made it possible to calculate which country the most popular content is coming from. Here is the list:

2. South Korea
3. United Kingdom
4. Spain
5. France
6. Columbia
7- Mexico
8- Japan
9. India
10- Canada
The United States ranks first, by a large margin. This, of course, is not surprising, since both Hollywood productions and the most popular Netflix original shows come from the United States. Even more surprising is South Korea in second place, but when you consider the success of, among others Squid game Isn’t this surprising.
