The DeLorean DMC-12 is a private car. This car didn’t just appear in all three Back to the future –Movies, but the car is all private. The DMC-12 was designed by Giorgetto Guigiaro, but was taken over by Lotus Chief Colin Chapman. Although Chapman made production models of it, the DeLorean DMC-12 is actually still little more than a very limited release model. Only 9,000 copies were made.

The car’s design is still distinct. The doors with seagull wings and the stainless steel look are characteristic of the DMC-12, also because it is the only vehicle to have these elements. So whether you think the car is beautiful or ugly, it definitely stands out.
