Ryan Thomas and Thomas Bielen are both fit enough to take part in the training camp with PEC Zwolle. Qualifiers leave for Spain on Tuesday morning to prepare for the rest of the season until Sunday.
Ryan Thomas (27) signed a contract until the end of the season at the end of last month. The crowd pleaser from Swell returns to the old nest after four years at PSV. His years at Eindhoven ended in disappointment due to various injuries and he was allowed to leave on a free transfer.
Practice with a group
The New Zealand international is currently recovering from his recent knee surgery. Eindhoven’s rehabilitation is now complete and he already trained in Zwolle last week.
Thomas is fit enough to travel to Spain where he can train with the team for some time. He is expected to be able to build up playing minutes again early in the new year.
Beelan
Thomas Beelan (21) may also join training camp. He suffered a knee injury in October that required surgery. It remains to be seen whether the defender will be able to see action in the final matches of the year against Helmand Sport and Roda JC.
Dean Huberts is missing in Spain. The midfielder injured his ankle in the home game against MVV Maastricht and will be out for two or three months.
PEC Zwolle leave for Roldan in Spain on Tuesday and stay there until Sunday. On Saturday (12.00) KV will choose an exhibition game against Oostende.
