How strange (or, to say, unique: unique) is your musical taste? Spotify will let you know. Moreover, in this overview of the best Android apps, we have a convenient game, easy-to-use clothing app, and much more.
Read on after the announcement.
Spotify regularly looks at your musical development. With the new Only You playlist, the app emphasizes how special your tastes are. Who likes to play beautiful R&B songs after hours of listening to heavy metal with some Katy Perry in between? There can only be one: you.
You’ll find Spotify on the app’s home screen. In just a few windows, the app tells you about the unique music preferences you have, and the artists you listen to the most. It also features your latest discovery.
With these summer temperatures, it’s best not to worry too much. The game that helps you with this is Lilolo. In this calming puzzle, you solve all kinds of puzzles in a colorful and dreamy world.
You play Lilulu, a girl who suffers from all kinds of mental problems. To help her get rid of these diseases, you have to solve puzzles and find a way out of the levels. As befits a good puzzle game, the puzzles start easy, but get more and more difficult.
3. The little black door
If you mix Vinted with Instagram, you get Little Black Door. You can use this new app to buy or sell used clothes and get fashion inspiration. You can not only put your wardrobe online, but also display the wardrobe of others.
For example, you can add favourites to search books (à la Pinterest) and search specifically for certain items. The app is not very popular yet hence there are few Dutch users. Did you find the Netherlands? Then you can become friends in Little Black Door and lend each other other clothes.
4. Smart TV
KPN has released the Smart TV app for Android TV. This is great, as it allows KPN customers to watch TV channels without the need for a receiver. The app was previously available on LG and Samsung Smart TVs. From now on, any TV with Android TV can handle it.
With KPN Smart TV, you can watch live TV via Android TV. The provider announces that the application is still being tested, and therefore sometimes works unstable. In addition to watching TV, Smart TV also allows you to quickly set favorite channels to view. You need a subscription to the app.
5. Metal Revolution
Mind at 0 and go. This is the attitude you need in Metal Revolution, a new fighting game that came out on the Play Store last week. The game is a bit reminiscent of Tekken games and the goal is the same: beat your opponent with all kinds of combos.
It is very interesting to play the game using the “real” buttons on the screen of your phone. One downside to Metal Revolution is that the game often reminds you that you can make in-app purchases. You can just ignore these notifications – because the game is free – but they are a bit intrusive.
