Victory for team sprinters at Nations Cup Egypt, silver hawk on elimination course

The Netherlands sprinters won the gold medal at the Nations Cup Track Cycling in Cairo, Egypt. Yori Havik won the silver medal in the men’s elimination race.

The Netherlands was the fastest in qualifying. At that time there was already a difference of half a second with the number two. Poland were defeated in the first round, after which Roy van den Berg, Harry Lauriesen and Geoffrey Hoogland dealt with France in the final. TeamNL won by more than 1.2 seconds.

In the final part of the evening in Cairo, in the elimination race, Yori Havik won the silver medal on behalf of the commercial team of Beat Cycling.
