Netflix announced the popular series You You will get one last season. The fifth season of the series about serial stalker/killer Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) will be released next year.
Last month, the first part of the fourth season of You on Netflix. On March 9, it’s time for the second part of the season. And we haven’t seen another Joe Goldberg yet. Because Netflix had announced one season last season.
Fifth and final season
After the first part of the fourth season in which You He became a criminal for a while and Joe seemed to be on the right side for once, but that turned out not to be true in the sequel (with a shocking plot twist). We got to see Joe Goldberg go all out again, including the glass cage. In the end, he tells his real name to his new flame Kate (Charlotte Richie), shaves off his beard with Jonathan Moore, and returns to the States. So everything is set for the final season in which we get to see Joe once again working in territory he is familiar with.
In the teaser announcing season 5, we hear Joe in his familiar tone: “Well, hello there, hello … you. Hey, you. Hello youBut it ends with a new statement:Goodbye to youThe fifth season of You So it will be the last.
Lead actor Penn Badgley previously announced that the Season 4 finale would be a good ending for the series, but it won’t be. There’s no set release date yet, but we do know that Season 5 will come out sometime in 2024.
With this tweet, Netflix made it to the final season of You a favour:
